2. Principles of Data Processing

We process personal data confidentially and only when this is necessary for the operation, security, and provision of this website or when a legal basis exists (consent, contract, legitimate interest). We provide this information transparently and in clear language.

3. Access Data / Server Log Files

When accessing our website, technical data is automatically collected (IP address, date/time, requested URL/file, referrer, browser/operating system, amount of data transferred).
Purpose/Interest: Operational security, stability, detection of misuse and attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).
Storage period: IP addresses in server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then anonymized.

4. Contact Form

If you contact us via the form, we process the data you enter (name, email, subject, message) to handle your request.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual/contractual measures).
Storage period: Until the request is completed; beyond that only if statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Cookies, Services and Consent (§ 25 TTDSG)

We do not use non-essential cookies without your consent. For functional third-party services (e.g. translation), the following applies: any storage or access to information on your device that is not strictly necessary only takes place with your prior consent; you can revoke or adjust this at any time in the privacy settings.

6. Web Hosting & Data Processing Agreement

Our website is hosted by STRATO AG. A data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Strato. Strato processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, timestamps) to provide and secure the services; for log files see section 3.

7. Translation Service (Google Translate)

To display content in additional languages, we may use Google Translate (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).
Data categories: e.g. IP address, language settings, accessed URL/page content, browser/OS, date/time.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), revocable at any time in the privacy settings.
Recipients/third-country transfer: Google may transfer data to third countries (especially the USA). Google applies appropriate safeguards to protect the data.
You can deactivate the translation function at any time; the website will remain usable.

8. Data Sharing

Data is only transferred to third parties if this is legally permitted, you have given consent, it is necessary for contract fulfillment, or we use processors (Art. 28 GDPR) who are contractually bound to confidentiality and security.

9. Storage Period / Deletion

We delete or anonymize personal data as soon as the purpose no longer applies, at the latest after statutory retention periods expire. Specific periods are stated where applicable (e.g. log files: 7 days).

10. Rights of Data Subjects

Depending on the requirements, you have rights to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), and withdrawal of consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Service note (optional): Specify the competent supervisory authority at the company’s location (e.g. for Saxony: The Saxon Data Protection Commissioner).

11. No Automated Decision-Making

No automated decision-making, including profiling with legal effects, takes place.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We update this policy in the event of changes to functions or legal requirements; the current version published on this page applies.
